Arista Vault was a part of the seventh edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2023 which was held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The three-day event kicked off on 27th October the inauguration of India Mobile Congress was done by Honorable Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi followed by his words of wisdom. 

This year's event revolves around the theme of Global Digital Innovation, featuring exhibitors who are presenting state-of-the-art technologies like satellite communication, a demonstration of 6G, and various practical applications.

On the opening day of IMC 2023, prominent figures including Akash Ambani, who chairs Reliance Jio, Sunil Bharti Mittal, the Chairman of Bharti Enterprises, and Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of Aditya Birla Group, were present for the inaugural session. 

In contrast to the previous year when the major attraction was the announcement of the 5G rollout, this year's event featured numerous demonstration sessions and important announcements related to 100 5G Labs in India and JioSpaceFiber India’s first Satellite-based Gigabit broadband service to deliver high-speed internet in previously inaccessible geographies. 

Following these captivating demonstrations, Nokia presented a 6G Sensing network demo that doubles as a radar, capable of sensing objects, individuals, and movements while preserving privacy. This situational awareness offers people a sort of digital sixth sense, allowing them to collect information about their environment, peer around obstacles, and even interact with objects from a distance. 

Nokia showcased the live testing of this 6G sensing technology using prototype radio equipment. The company also emphasized its intelligent and secure railway networks, particularly its collaboration with Alstom to provide a private wireless network for the Delhi to Meerut RRTS (Regional Rapid Transit System) under NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation). This network is acclaimed as the world's first LTE/4.9G private wireless network supporting the European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 Signaling.

RedCap Technology Demo, The Reduced Capability (RedCap) solution, introduced by Ericsson at India Mobile Congress 2023, is designed to simplify devices, conserve battery life, and enhance data speed. RedCap, a novel radio access network software from Ericsson, unlocks new possibilities in 5G and allows for increased 5G connectivity in smartwatches, wearables, industrial sensors, and AR/VR devices. During IMC 2023, Ericsson, Airtel, and Qualcomm showcased the capabilities of the RedCap solution.

Last but not least, the Airtel A-SON solution may not be a novel concept, but we were intrigued to witness its practical application in the area. Airtel asserts that its AI-driven Self-Optimizing Network, known as A-SON, is revolutionizing the network experience. This system identifies irregularities and employs AI to rectify them automatically, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The solution is engineered to anticipate future challenges that Airtel's networks might encounter and proactively address them in advance.
